Royal Ontario Museum
Having worked for a number of years both pre-Garbers & James formation as well as subsequently (Design Management and Entrance Signage), the ROM commissioned Garbers & James to design and realise the central donor recognition installation.
The private donor individuals had been fully engaged in the whole scheme development and delivery. They were delighted to take part in a special portrait piece reflecting the enjoyment and spirit of the ROM extension to take the museum forward into the 21st Century.
This significant glass piece required careful constructional detailing and full specification to include specialist integral laser work. All portrait photography and the overall composition was undertaken by Garbers & James with Lorenz Haarmann.
